  1. This packet includes the DEM files and the original IFF image
  2. that was the source image, as described in the Joel Hagen method
  3. from the Amiga World article.(Feb '92):

  12. DeMap.05.DEM is based on different color information than
  13. DeMap.03.DEM. I didn't like the resulting pallette that seemed to
  14. result from the DPaint default palette. So I loaded a stock DEM
  15. file into VistaPro and output its color info with COL>IFF, which
  16. I then loaded into DeMap.03.DEM, and saved this out as
  17. DeMap.05.DEM.

  19. In VistaPro this all results in significantly different looking
  20. landscape pictures. You might not even see any difference at all
  21. in Scenery Animator.

  24. the time to check it out.
